FORTNITE EMOTES

Fortnite is an online 3rd person shooter developed by Epic Games. I was fortunate enough to be able to work on the Emotes Team at Steamroller Animation, it was a very fun project and I improved my understanding of body mechanics a lot.

I was responsible for animating emotes in Maya and transferring them to the different character types. During downtime we could develop our own emote ideas to pitch them to Epic, but mostly we worked from their briefs.

The dances were my favorite to work on, they were very challenging but very rewarding to see the final result.
